Lake Oswego has a long-running history with its Pets On Parade annual event. This year, Betsy from Betsy’s Pet Sitting Service is at the helm and the event has been rebranded Betsy’s Pet Parade & Woofstock.
People and pets of most every variety and age will gather for the event at the Lake Oswego Hunt Club from 10:00 – 4:00 on Sunday, September 7, 2014. A complete brochure for the day can be found here. Heck, even stuffed animals are welcome.
Lucid will be there along with many other great sponsors including: Umpqua Bank Home Lending, Zupan’s Market, Banfield Pet Hospital, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, and Brody’s Dog House… just to name a few. Other events include a demonstration by the LO Police K9 units, cars on display by Freeman Motors, a Boy Scout march, and the US Army is bringing in a climbing wall. Food will be provided by the LO Lion’s Club and other great food carts/vendors.
Best dressed, most unique, and most entertaining are the categories… so bring your family, pets, and don’t forget your creativity, to the Hunt Club on Sunday. Official winners will be announced after the show. The ones we like most will be thoroughly congratulated by us all day long. The random Google picture above sets the bar.
